What\u2019s hard is doing it right: making it connect with people, truly motivate them, scale effectively, and \u2014 above all \u2014 deliver on its promise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">At Penta, we have been designing <a href=\"https:\/\/pentamarketingagency.com\/en\/incentives\/\" target=\"_self\">incentive programs<\/a> across Latin America and the Caribbean for over 27 years. After hundreds of projects, the best briefs we receive start like this: \"We've done incentives before. Some worked, others not so much. Not everyone wants the same thing. Don\u2019t reward everyone the same way.<\/strong><br>It sounds obvious, but it happens all the time \u2014 programs where someone who sells 5 gets the same reward as someone who sells 50. Local merchant vouchers, digital gift cards, experiences, trips, \u201cchoose your own reward\u201d\u2026 When participants get to choose, the incentive becomes personal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>4. Don\u2019t underestimate the local factor.<br><\/strong>A regional program isn\u2019t just a big campaign translated into multiple languages. Each country has its own cultural, legal, and logistical barriers. If you don\u2019t handle them properly, everything can fall apart in the final stretch.
